Earlier this year, I had the amazing opportunity to attend a Flowerwild workshop here in Charlottesville. I am so grateful for the ways in which I've been able to learn and grow as a florist and event designer, and Kate's instruction was unparalleled. The two days we spent together were rich in inspiration and a true feast for the eyes. As a wedding artist, it was incredibly nourishing for me to be around other like-minded designers from across the globe (US, Canada, and even Australia!). I've said it again and again - I love what I do. Creating floral arrangements and bouquets for brides and then styling the entire wedding are gifts for which I hardly have words. But for now - here are some images of my own work from the workshop as well as some behind the scenes, all from Corbin Gurkin! (ps - I can't wait to work with Corbin again and create florals for a calligraphy and watercolor workshop with Stephanie Fishwick in November - sign up here! It's going to be soooo good!)
