I see it. I like it. I want it. I got it. 🎶
This bouquet represents so much about what I love about flowers - this client had a black tie wedding and wanted a neutral palette. She’d seen lots of examples of white flowers (like lots of my clients!) and brought me images of them. But when we got to talking and I showed her the possibilities of bringing in a few warmer, muddier tones to give her flowers depth, she lit up! And then we threw in some fuzzy grasses to add texture and it was one of the most fun flowering days! Added their gallery on my site if you want to see more! Images by @elisabricker.
Bout portraits are some of my fave portraits. Also, finally updated my website with some new galleries! 🌿 Photo by @rachelmayphoto

It’s Friday; I’m in love! It may be dreary outside but we are gearing up for a joy-packed weekend celebrating our spunky, sweet James! The birthday girl is turning two and I’m trying my hand at a homemade lemon strawberry cake 🍋- wish me luck! Photo: @theomilophoto
This bouquet was very special for me to make - for Sam on her wedding day. Sam, who acted as my right hand girl during a really tough season in my business and who led the charge for me right after I had given birth to James and who hugged me, made sure I ate, told me I was doing things right when I doubted myself and laughed with me in the late late hours during breakdown. I get emotional thinking about it! Thank you to @ashley.p.cox for capturing this beautiful woman so well! 🌿

Happy Valentine’s Day! James loooves flowers and was super excited to hold this bouquet before we delivered it. 🌸 This year, almost all my bouquets were purchased by women for women! I love helping women encourage and love each other!
I only used three ingredients in Eva’s bridesmaid bouquets and it was kind of the best. Doing a very similar thing this week for Valentine’s Day! Thanks for all who bought bouquets! I’m sold out! Photo by @bettyclicker

I’ll be writing my February goals, eating snacks and waiting on the commercials tonight during the Super Bowl. You? I’ve started using #powersheets from @cultivatewhatmatters to track my goals and it completely revolutionized my January. Small steps adding up! 💪🏻 📷: @elisabricker
Those first blooms of spring make these frozen winter days all worth it.
Taylor chose such beautiful details for her wedding including this stunning gown and hair clip. Dreaming up her bouquet with her was icing on the cake! Photo by my sweet friend @michelleboyd

When the big day unexpectedly calls for rain, I’m always so grateful to have partnered with a photographer I know can make the magic happen no matter what. Like this portrait by @elisabricker! 🌿
Charlottesville locals! I’m thinking of putting together some small bouquets for pickup for Valentjne’s Day. Would you be into that?! I’d take pre-orders at maybe two different price points. Let me know in the comments! 🌿
Received the most luxurious rose scented olive oil hand lotion from @gracerosefarm (thank you, Gracie!) so now I not only have an obsession with their roses (featured here in Julianne’s bouquet) but also one with their skincare line! I love seeing passionate people take their businesses in new directions! So inspiring! Photo by @rachelmayphoto 🌿
Merry Christmas from the Joyces! The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned. Photos by @amynicolephoto
May we all find someone who looks at us like Brad looks at Molli. 🌿 Truly though - the power of really looking into someone’s eyes is not lost on me. In this season, my husband and I can sometimes feel like two ships passing in the night. He wakes early, lets me sleep another hour while he gets the toddler ready and cleans up (usually last night’s dishes 😬) then leaves for work by 7 and I start the day juggling two under two 👧🏻👶🏼. 5:30pm rolls around and we are getting dinner on the table, feeding the baby, feeding the dog, listening to toddler chatter, doing bath time and book time and feeding the baby again. There’s a lot of joy in there but it’s easy to miss each other if we aren’t intentional. So when we fall into bed, we look into each other’s eyes and sometimes talk about our day, other times we just say “I love you” like we mean it before giving into sleep (usually by 9pm 😂). And that connection, albeit brief, is so very significant. . . Photo by @vickigrafton
When I’m bleary eyed at 2am feeding Waters or am changing my 20th diaper of the day, sometimes I look back at past flower work to remind myself that I do cool, creative things too. 😂 And then I go back to staring at my baby. 👶🏼 photo by @jenfariello
