Maybe one more week of these local dahlias! We actually had a frost last week that hit some of the local farms and over 1000 stems I had on order were affected. 10 years ago when I was just starting out, that would have sent me into a panic. But experience has taught me these things are bound to happen, especially with something as delicate and ephemeral as flowers! So I pooled my resources and made some calls and got what we needed to make this autumnal beauty happen. Flexibility and adaptability are the name of the game.
